Barton Court Estate serves up the crystal-clear water, fresh from the chalk of the North Wessex Downs that is home to some of the finest trout and grayling to be found in the Country.

The tranquillity of Barton Court will quickly let you forget that you are less than an hour outside London and is home to a plethora of wildlife both in and around the river.  A quiet and understated gem of a river, The Kennet is undiscovered by many and adored by those that know it.  It is a natural and unspoilt river serving up world-class fishing.

Please note that owing to restoration works being carried out during the autumn and winter months, we will not be offering coarse fishing on the river. Lake fishing is available and information can be found here.
